Using Digital Products:

"How do I use my digital product?" It's remarkably easy to produce acceptable printouts on a common inkjet printer. Products are distributed in Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) files. The lower-resolution 8.5"x11" (letter format) pages can be printed by double-clicking on the downloaded file, then File -> Print.

For Professional results, use high-resolution 10"x13" (music format) pages, copy the PDF file from your computer folder to a portable "jumpdrive" or "usb stick" device. Take the "stick" to a commercial outfit, like Kinko's™ or CopyMat™ and ask them to print the pages on "Card Stock" 11"x17" paper and trim to size. Optionally you may bind or accordian tape (for performance) the pages. We utilize very heavy, glossy stock for front and back covers on bound copies.

If you are having difficulty printing, you may contact us here and explain the problem.

This type of publishing greatly reduces printing costs and delivery costs of scores and piece parts enabling us to pass the savings on to you, not to mention having "instant" availability!

This two-part work features virtuoso passages and very expressive performance demands.

As close to a watercolor as Carol Worthey has created in sound.

Prelude (subtitled "Before Time") depicts the primeval "time before time began". The work is circular in its structure, returning full circle to the beginning sonorities, which span the color palette and full range of the piano.

Nocturne (subtitled "Decision") is a musical journey from timelessness to the birth of Time. Reminiscent of Chopin but entirely modern, a melody soars over rapid left-hand passages while harmonic colors shift and shimmer. At the end, the listener gets to witness the decisive moment of revelation ("I am") in a triumphant passage that announces the birth of Time. Have we triumphed by creating Time or have we fallen into a trap? When the final chords fade, the question lingers.
